Aceite El Buen Samaritano, an olive oil brand born from the mission of The Good Samaritan Association, faced a unique challenge. Located in Sierra Morena, Europe’s largest organic olive oil production area, the NGO uses its 2,000-tree olive grove as part of occupational therapy for individuals at risk of social exclusion.
The brand needed a refreshed identity that could weave together the history of the NGO, its social impact, the beauty of its Andalusian roots, and the premium quality of its organic olive oil.
Crafting a brand identity that honors purpose, tradition, and excellence
We partnered with Aceite El Buen Samaritano to create a comprehensive rebranding strategy, focusing on three key pillars:
The rebranding and packaging redesign have successfully revitalized Aceite El Buen Samaritano’s presence in the European market. The updated design resonates with modern consumers while honoring the heritage and purpose behind the product.
Working with Bonito is very rewarding; from the first contact, they were open to helping us with this charitable project. Our idea was to change the image and design of our extra virgin olive oil bottles. We provided them with some ideas, and after several meetings, they hit the nail on the head, creating a beautiful design that perfectly complemented our product. The design itself is very well executed. Our product comes from the northern part of the province of Cordoba, Spain one of the best places in the world for producing organic extra virgin olive oil. They played with the design of native Cordoba tiles, the colours of the land, the countryside, and the olives. The design is meticulously crafted, and every detail is a work of art. Thank you very much, Bonito, for wanting to help us with this project, which we hope will reach every corner of Europe.
