Vzw CAS

Vzw CAS is a Belgian non-profit that has been supporting children and young people in complex living situations for 75 years. In 2025, this milestone became the perfect moment to look ahead and rethink how the organisation presents itself. As part of a full rebrand, Vzw CAS needed a new digital home, one that reflected their renewed identity while staying true to their mission.

the challenge

A rebrand at 75 years is no small thing. Everything had to start from scratch, including the website. The new site needed to reflect the updated identity while respecting the organisation’s long-standing credibility and trust.

On top of that, there were a few extra layers to navigate:

  • Vzw CAS is a non-profit organisation based in Belgium, with decades of existing content and visitors.
  • The website was built in Webflow, a platform the CAS team had never worked with before.
  • Existing links and redirects from the old website had to stay intact, so visitors wouldn’t get lost along the way.
  • All content was written in Dutch, while Bonito’s team operates in English.

Different languages, a new platform, and a full rebrand, challenge accepted!

our approach

As always, we started with content before visuals. Before thinking about colours or components, we focused on structure. Through low- and high-fidelity wireframes, we mapped out the entire site framework.

This phase helped define:

  • Where headlines, body copy, and calls to action would live
  • How content would flow across pages
  • How imagery and other media would support the story

By locking in the structure early, the Vzw CAS team could work on their Dutch copy with confidence, knowing exactly how it would fit into the layout. This meant fewer surprises later on and no last-minute layout changes caused by copy tweaks, a win for everyone.

Once the structure was approved, we moved into the build phase.

Build & delivery

We built the entire website in Webflow, creating a flexible and easy-to-manage setup that could grow with the organisation. One of the key technical challenges was handling existing links and redirects from the previous website. We carefully worked around these to ensure nothing broke and visitors were always guided to the right place.

After final sign-off, the site went live.

To make sure the team felt confident moving forward, we also delivered a series of recorded training videos. These walkthroughs covered the basics of the Webflow Content Editor, enabling the CAS team to:

  • Add new content
  • Update existing pages
  • Remove or adjust information whenever needed

The goal was simple: give them full ownership of their website from day one.

The Result

The new Vzw CAS website is a fresh digital expression of a trusted organisation. It balances clarity and warmth, tradition and progress, all wrapped in a design that supports their mission and future ambitions.

With a solid structure, a flexible platform, and a team empowered to manage their own content, Vzw CAS is now ready for the next chapter. And we’re proud to have helped shape a website that celebrates 75 years of impact.

Our client's thoughts

We are extremely satisfied with our collaboration with Bonito on the design of our new website. From the very beginning, what stood out to us was how carefully our wishes were listened to, as well as the different target audiences we want to reach with our website. That input was beautifully translated into a clear, well-structured, and attractive website that truly reflects who we are. Throughout the entire process, Bonito was always open to questions and showed great willingness to think along with us and meet our — sometimes high — expectations. Communication was smooth and professional, and we genuinely felt heard and supported at every step of the journey. In short: a very pleasant collaboration with a result we are proud of.
